Belém & Ajuda Full Day Tour
Discover Portugal’s royal heritage, iconic monuments, and stunning riverside landscapes — all at your own pace and fully tailored to your wishes.
We spend the day exploring the most beautiful and historically rich area of Lisbon: Belém and Ajuda. This relaxed and flexible tour combines royal palaces, world‑famous pastries, monumental architecture, and a scenic stroll along the Tagus River.
We begin with a visit to the magnificent Ajuda National Palace, the last royal residence of the Portuguese monarchy. Together, we explore its grand halls and the dazzling Crown Jewels Museum, home to one of Europe’s most impressive royal collections.
After our palace visit, we take a lunch break in Belém, choosing a restaurant that suits your taste and pace.
For dessert, we head to the legendary Pastéis de Belém, where we enjoy the original custard tart baked from the secret 1837 recipe.
From here, we continue to the waterfront to admire the striking Monument to the Discoveries and the iconic Belém Tower, two landmarks that celebrate Portugal’s Age of Exploration. We then enjoy a gentle riverside stroll, taking in the light, breeze, and atmosphere that make Belém one of Lisbon’s most beloved districts.
To conclude our day, we visit the remarkable National Coach Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of royal carriages — an extraordinary display of craftsmanship, ceremony, and history.
Throughout the tour, the pace is entirely yours, and the itinerary remains flexible so we can shape the experience according to what you enjoy most.
